PROJECT SCOPE & IMPACT

As the co-founder of Lineage 2: Project Essence, a private server for the MMORPG Lineage 2, I managed the entire marketing strategy, including both paid and organic campaigns, to attract and retain players. I was responsible for budget allocation, promotional content creation, and strategic decision-making to optimize player engagement. In addition to marketing, I handled community management for over 5,000 international players, interacting in English, Spanish, German, and French to foster a strong and active player base.

TOOLS & TECHNIQUES

I leveraged digital advertising platforms like Google Ads and social media to maximize reach and drive player acquisition. Promotional videos were produced in Premiere Pro with motion graphics in After Effects, while all branding assets, in-game event visuals, and marketing graphics were designed in Photoshop and Illustrator. Community engagement was driven through Discord, forums, and social media, ensuring real-time interaction and player support. I also proposed and coordinated in-game events to enhance player experience and maintain engagement.

THE RESULT

Managing a large-scale gaming community required balancing marketing efforts with user experience, strategic decision-making, and continuous adaptation to player needs. This project strengthened my ability to develop effective marketing campaigns, create compelling content, and build a dedicated player base in a highly competitive MMORPG landscape.
